do best buy stores sell windows 7 or 8 computers?
ive been to 2 different wal marts, they only sell google crome and windows 10 computers and laptops
I don t want google crome and I really don t like the setup with widows 10
all want and frankly all I need is a computer with a start menu and internet explorer, I don t want all that extra dumb stuff. sometimes simple is better

Most likely not. Microsoft stopped making new copies of Windows 7 (not sure about 8) some time ago. Add to that Windows 10 has been out since last July and any pre-built system that is running native Windows 7 will likely be old stock.
If all you want is a real start menu. get a Windows 10 machine and install Classic Shell. It will replace that goofy Fisher-Price interface with a real, functional start menu. You can make it look like one from any version of Windows from XP to 7.

You'll need to look in the secondhand market as all new computers are only permitted to sell current operating systems.
