22 yr old female scared of being homeless. How do I survive it?
I'm a 22 year old female living in Michigan, and my mother is kicking me out (she says I have to be out by January). I suffer from GAD, PTSD, social phobia, and severe chronic depression...I guess she's fed up with dealing with me. There is no homeless shelter in town and I don't have a car, so I'd have to go to a larger town I don't know very well to use their shelter.
I'm terrified. I have no friends at all (not even acquaintances). and no other family. My therapist put me on a housing list, but priority goes to those who are currently out in the streets. Not to mention even if I managed to get a place, I have no source of income. I'm so scared...and then to be kicked out during the holiday season just twists the knife. Everything just feels hopeless...

Okay , so you are suffering from those things and the stress would create everything to be a mountain. Maybe be creative and make money by selling crafts or items or maybe get a job, or create your own. Even if you start doing volunteer work and being able to socialise with people and have them for support. Would discussing with your mum what you could do be an option? Telling her that you are fearing being homeless with no where to go. Socialise and meet new people - some of them you might be able to call friends. Could you sell artwork , chicken eggs, or lemons ? Whilst you are still living with your mum, organise a plan. It is the easiest time to rather on the streets with no plan
