Physics Help Please! A power plant running at 34 percent efficiency generates 300 MW of electric power.?

Update:

At what rate (in MW) is heat energy exhausted to the river that cools the plant?

    Energy used (coal or whatever) = usable energy + energy sent to the river for cooling

    efficiency = usable energy/Energy used

    Therefore Energy used = usable energy/efficiency

    Plug that and the usable energy into the first equation above
