Who else here quit watching the walking dead after negan killed glen?

Negans arrival has been legendary. It's been a great season so far, I haven't felt like this about The Walking Dead since season 4. You don't watch a TV show like this then get butt hurt when a character gets killed off. It adds to the suspense and intensity of the show. Why on Earth would you watch it if you knew nobody will die. It would just be an unrealistic boring zombie show. What do you think will happen when the show ends, they find a cure? Heck no, I garuntee everybody dies by the end of this.

The death of Glenn is straight out of the comics. The books wanted to establish Negan as a major threat to the group and give a reason why Rick might seemingly agree to adhere to Negan's rules. Killing one of the few original survivors left seemed to fit that bill for them. Glenn probably also bought it because he was one of the nicest of the remaining survivors. He wasn't some uncompromising hard *** like Rick or Michonne. He was a likable guy and people felt that he didn't deserve this. There's a reason that people are particularly upset about Glenn rather than Abraham who also died in that scene, and it's not just cause Glenn has been with us longer. Abraham is one of the big tough guys of the show. After getting part of his head caved in his response is to tell Negan to "suck my balls". Glenn's death is much worse because he's not that kind of guy. He's the family man of the group with a wife and a kid on the way.

I don't watch The Walking Dead at all.

The show was just to violent...I expected one to be killed off but two beaten to death like that on TV? Nah, they're going for ratings and don't give a damn about good script anymore. bored with it.

Nope, I really want to see how the 'tribal-era' works out on TV, so far it's really interesting.

And it's a survivalist-drama, everybody dies, you can bet on it.
