I like it. As someone who has to sign my name A LOT- short names have advantages. The kid has options as he gets older (John, Jack, Chris, Topher) AND there's a classy elegance vis a vis Jack Kennedy.

John Christopher is a nice name, but John is a little plain to me and I have never gotten why someone would name there son John and nickname him Jack, it just doesn't make since to me. If you like Jack then I would use Jack as the first name and Jack Christopher is very cute and I really like so much better than John Christopher. To me Jack is a much more interesting name than John is.

I like it. I also like the name Jack. However it's a bit confusing. Jack isn't traditionally a nickname for John unlike how Billy or Bill is for William or Bob is for Robert. Jack Christopher has a good ring to it as well.

    I love it!

Jack is a great nickname. I'd never heard of boys being named just Jack (and not John) until Yahoo Answers. I also think Jack Christopher clashes badly because of the CK and C. So stick with John!

John is a nice name and Jack is a nice name. But you should use one or the other.I like John Christopher better.

Jack as a nickname for John doesn't really work anymore because they're considered separate names.

If you're naming him John call him John. If you like Jack use Jack. Don't subject him to a life time of "actually I prefer Jack" for absolutely no reason.
