Why does the US Political Left think that the US Border must be wide open and every other country in the world can close their borders?

A wall, or fence will not discuss things that people need to know. Much the way custom's are, and any claim upon entry. No different then many businesses are that require you to have a badge to enter if you are an employee, and if not, you have to check in at the office.

We most certainly don't think that. We just see different solutions to the problem. Build a wall at huge expense and people will still go under, over and around it. If you lived in Mexico and couldn't feed your kids, a wall wouldn't stop you from doing what you need to do to get a better job with more money so you could take care of them. Would it?

What's the alternative? Force Americans to pick their own strawberries? Not gonna happen.
