It cements Ward's and dents Kovalev's.

To be fair Ward had a better boxrec than Kovalev on Friday and today that remains the case.

    As of 21 Nov 16 my top 5 is as follows;

    Roman Gonzalez

    Andre Ward

    Gennady Golovkin

    Terence Crawford

    Guillermo Rigondeaux

Ward got gifted the decision in a fight where he won 3 or 4 rounds (by punches thrown and landed). By the way, punch stats isn't a robot counting punches - it's a person sitting on his *** and clicking a button. That's it.

So, what does that do for Ward's legacy? The same thing it has done to Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s legacy compared to the top 50 P4P all-time-greats. It will keep him out of the top 50. It has to. When you get beaten by a fighter and get a gift decision anyways, AND choose to fight lesser fighters than yourself for years, it's pretty much that conclusion. You can't have it both ways.

Kovalev beat Ward decisively. He deserves to stay where he was at on the P4P list. Same thing for Ward.

Roman Gonzalez is number 1 and GGG is number 2 right now. Kovalev is 3rd.

Kovalev should've won. But since ward got a gift he'll be #1 for now Kovalev #2

This is going to seriously HURT Kovalev's legacy forever, despite THE FACT that he CLEARLY WON THE FIGHT!!!

Ward's legacy gets unjustly bolstered high above what he deserves, all because he is American.

Its REALLY... REALLY messed up, boxing is killing itself with this constant garbage!!!

These judges should really be fired, and prevented from judging in the future, boxing needs new unbiased judges!

As far as MY P4P list this takes Kovalev to the current number 1 spot, and Ward to number 3, but I know EVERYONE else's list will be VERY DIFFERENT! All the big media outlets are going to defend this HORRIBLE decison, and say Ward is the current number 1 P4P fighter in the world, and Kovalev will get dropped down to the bottom of the top ten list, or maybe even off the top ten altogether?! These judges are like cancer to boxing, killing it from the inside!

Ward won it so I put him p4p #1 and Kovalev at #2. I hope Kovalev exercises his rematch clause cuz I would love to see a competitive trilogy from these 2.

The victory for Ward only enhances his credentials and it hurts Kovalev, but Kovalev can come bounce back.

Probably a very controversial number 1 lol. If kovalev will beat him in their rematch, then thats about it for him. If kovalev is great, he will do what pacquiao did to tim bradley.

This decision doesn't do squat for Ward; everyone questions that supposed "win." Kosalev will maintain his credibility; Ward will live with doubts.

Ward was favored by the insider big-money dealers that control boxing; those judges got paid off; watch how they start to spend big bucks wihtout touching their bank accounts!

And people wonder why boxing is dying? Too much money passing hands in poorly lit, smoke-filled back rooms... boxing won't last long with these crooked decisions. People are getting fed up.
