How do I place a hyperlink to a specific slide in Powerpoint 2016 Mac?

The "Select a place under this document" tab is still there but it only has "Last, Previous, and First slides" to choose from. For example, I m in slide 3, I can t link it to go to slide 8 because I don t have an option for it. Help please. :-( Badly needed for a presentation.

There are two ways to get a presentation to jump to a slide that is NOT in the correct order....

    1)

    – In the slide that will have the link, select an object (picture, textbook, etc.).

    – At the “Insert” menu, choose “Hyperlink” or press command K.

    – In the dialog box, under “Anchor”, click the “Locate” button.

    – In the next dialog box, click the drop-arrow at “Slide Titles”, and choose the slide, being aware that Microsoft tries to confuse you with multiple listings for some slides.

    2) Copy slide 8 and place it after slide 3.
