Why did I get my period twice in one month?

I had my period from November 1 to November 6. Today I discovered that I got my period again, only a few weeks later. What could be causing this?

You didn't, not all vaginal bleeding is menstruation - you could bleed for any number of reasons such as mid-cycle bleeding due to hormonal imbalance or STD, but you don't give any sort of indication as to what could have caused this. If concerned then talk to your doctor, only they can determine the cause.
