Why is it hard to translate songs into another language?

Though I'm fluent in Japanese, I still have a hard time translating songs into English. Why is that? It should be easy for me to translate them by now, since I@m fluent at it. Please answer. Thank you for your time.

It is because sometimes words in English cannot be fully translated into another language. So then, the translation would translate to a word that is similar to the English word.

Most songs rhyme. Words that rhyme in one language are not easy to find with a rhyme in another language.

It depends on the context of the words/phrases. For example I'm learning French, and I cannot say something like, "I'm going to Mary's house" I have to say, "Je vais la maison de Mary" Which translates to, "I am going to the house of Mary." Like I said, just depends on context and the way things are worded.
