He already had two losses and a draw going into his last fight, I thought he lost to Kameda the first time too but it was a close fight so I don't complain that it went McDonnell's way.

Sure he lost his last fight but it was close, I only had Solis winning by two rounds, McDonnell came back well but I agree he didn't do enough and the belts should have changed hands.

As for his legacy, it goes down as a W doesn't it? Remember, the history books don't show anything about robberies and gifts, it just 'vs Solis, W'.

Take Joe Calzaghe, I thought Hopkins edged it, many others did too but the legacy of Calzaghe is that he retired an undefeated world super-middleweight and world light-heavyweight champion at 46-0 with wins over Eubank, Kessler and Hopkins.

It's McDonnell and I think it was a disgraceful decision. He was out boxed and out classed.
