Why do the people that support gun control not own guns?

You know in some places if they see someone with a gun it scares people. Where I am from you only wish you had time to go hunting with the guy too.

I am a Certified Firearm Instructor. May I share some truths ? We invite people from our area for "Field Days". I operated the range. Hand 10 shots and sit folks down with a REAL Match rifle. A .22 rifle. Have had Life Flight Helicopter Nurses who never shot a gun come in to try it. ( people who have seen the worst damages of guns ) You know what ? My greatest reward for doing this is that when the 10 shots are gone, EVERYTIME the person looks up and says " That was fun, can I do it again ? " Everyone should try shooting before passing judgement being totally ignorant of the fun they provide so many.

So if you see a hundred hockey players with no teeth and broken noses do you need to be a doctor to figure out that helmets are a good idea?

I own several guns, I can pass any background check, but there are people out there who have guns and aren't picky about where they put them or how they keep them and they are taken by kids and thieves and used in crimes.

I support training and licensing and better background checks, and so should you.

Oh you're saying Judges should be gun enthusiasts? I'm all for that but the SCOTUS is made up of all different personalities. Not sure they're hobbies should dictate their decisions on the 2nd amendment. I hope they understand the right to bare arms in our constitution.

You're right, and you should only get to make murder laws if you've murdered someone. And you should only get to make drug laws if you've personally done hard drugs.
