The Lucas product to which you refer is only a leak preventative to temporary stop the leak, when driving of course. It's not going to do squat while the vehicle is not running.

Drive it. But, it's not a permanent repair. Better to find and fix the cause of the leak.

Pouring a bottle of snake oil into your engine is NOT just magically going to fix whatever is wrong with it. READ the label on the bottle and follow the instructions you find there.

    Read the instructions.

Then, go fix the actual problem when it keeps leaking.

If this stuff worked mechanics would be tearing their hair out. It doesn't so they aren't.

    You should not use it.

    Get the car properly fixed.

    It messes up your engine.

Well, there's no point in using it if you can't drive it afterwards.

It will indicate on the bottle what you need to do. Read under "Instructions" or "Directions".
