How would you make a compromise in this hypothetical wedding dilemma, having two different themes in mind?
You're planning your wedding. Your fiancee is a vampire nerd and wants a vampire themed wedding. You're a Star Wars nerd and want a Star Wars themed wedding. She kinda wants one too.
How do you compromise?

This is why mixed marriages never work out..I suggest the bride wear black and the groom dress as storm trooper...

Weddings do not need themes.
How could you make this work.
Have a grooms cake for your fiancée that is a vampire.
Have a normal wedding cake.
Instead of numbers, use star wars names for tables
This way you could combine both of your love without making it look like a 12 year old birthday party or two strange. Some times less is more

IMO you quit both "themes" and have a decent wedding. Its not a circas party. Are you two grown up enough to really marry someone? Marriage is serious. Act like it.

Neither. Plan a normal wedding. Themed weddings are for juveniles.

this is a wedding for Petes sake not a birthday party for an 8 year old. Are you sure you two are mature enough to be getting married

Pick one thing to use as a cake topper, pick another to use for the garter. And then don't theme the rest of the wedding around anything.

You do Star Wars, but all the "characters" are vampires...if that's your thing.
