My car heater will work, but after a bump in the road, make a LOUD squeal noise. I'll turn it off for a minute, back on, works normally.?

Blower motor bearings (bushings) are dry and worn. The problem will not get any better, only worse. You may as well go ahead and decide to replace the motor now, before it REALLY gets cold and your fan decides it's not going to run without hollering bloody murder every time you turn it on.
