As an employee, you don't have to file until you make $6100 assuming that you are someone else's dependent. However, if you make under this amount and you had federal taxes withheld, you should file to get amount refunded.

Pennsylvania has a much lower filing requirement. You must file if you make over $33 for the year.

if you don't make more than your non taxable income and no income tax has been withheld that you would have due as a refund, you don't have to file at all

for a single person, without dependents, for 2016 your non taxable income is $10450, for a dependent it is $6400

you won't have made those amounts having only worked since 10/25

No such thing as qualifying for taxes. If your income is low and are not required to file you might want to file to get a refund if it applies.

There is no floor on earnings to file a tax return. While there may be no point in doing so, there is NOTHING that prevents anyone from filing.

You can file at any income level, even $0.

You have to file if you have a job. You may get all your taxes (the withholding from your paycheck stub - Federal and State) refunded if you are below a certain threshold - but you must file there is no getting out of that chore.

    $.01

The IRS does not like it when you file an income tax return and you have $0 income.

You will have to complete your return to determine if it is worth filing. If you owe money, you will have to file. If you are receiving a refund, it's good to file since that is the only way to get the money returned.

Exactly $0.00. You do not need to make anything to file. Everyone alive qualifies to file.
