Right click on the item in the Recycle Bin and select Restore.

You can't throw Microsoft office in the recycle bin! You can delete the shortcut open up the recycle bin highlight it then restore.
If not you can make a new shortcut from the start menu
If you accidentally uninstalled use system restore to go back a couple of days before the uninstall.
This will also dig the shortcut out of the trash can
