In black schools with black teachers, what do the teachers do about English?

Like when you say: Where my pencil at? Instead of saying, "Where is my pencil?" I'm an old man. I went to an all white school in the 1960's, before integration, so I don't know what they do now.

    In all states at least a 4 year college degree is required to get a teaching credential. With that much education you are not going to find teachers says "Where y pencil at." Teachers know how to speak English.

    A good teachers should know the correct terms and correct the student.
