You research any sort of family history in exactly the same way, you start with yourself and then work backwards one generation at a time, the sort of records which are available to you will depend on what country you are in and in what time frame.

If you are American you might want to start by taking a look at the 1940 census which may have your grandparents on. https://familysearch.org/1940census

As for the other stuff, you do not have magical healing powers and nor did your ancestors, maybe if you are lucky you will find one with a wacky occupation or to be the seller of some sort of dubious potion.

Just make it up as you go along. You seem to be good at playing pretend.
