Where did Haitians come from?are they Africans?

    Most Haitians are descendants of Africans who were brought as slaves, and who killed off the Whites who ruled their country. The remaining small percentage of Haitian citizens are of other races: Whites, Hispanics (like nearby Cubans and Dominicans), Arabs, mixed people, and Asians.
