This website is becoming more unreliable for any useful information. FAREWELL.
What's your advice for those who have been influenced by websites to hate other race?
A lot of people around the world are like this: without proper understanding or instruction, they become easily influenced by almost anything they see on the Internet to hate other people and groups, resulting in racist people (such as anti-Whites, anti-Blacks, etc.) and some Internet trolls.
If you happen to have a friend who feels like hating other races, what advice would you suggest for them?
Should you tell your friend to avoid those sites, or continue?
5 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups3 years agoOCG, what should people do, when encountering people who advocate violence against others?
There are people who are that hateful in this world, and they support things such as violence, murders, or exterminations against other people.
Sometimes you might find some on the Internet in a chance before the mods delete their posts, and sometimes they can be seen in real life. Examples include some Internet trolls, politicians, some supremacists (Black, White, etc.), and terrorists (like ISIS).
So, if anyone were to encounter those people, who may threaten or support attacks against other people, what would you like them to do?
Should they support, oppose, or ignore those advocates?
4 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups3 years agoReligion and Spirituality, are people innately good or bad by nature?
It is a fact that NO ONE in this world is "perfect", because we all make mistakes at some point in our lives, and everyone is capable of intentionally causing harm (unless they are too disabled to even pick something up).
But it is a dispute on whether are people good or bad in nature: for example, the Bible states that "people are evil in nature due to Adam and Eve's wrongdoings", but there are others who disagree and state "people are good in nature, but are easily corrupted."
So, to this section where religion and atheism are being discussed, do you think that people are born to be "good" or "bad" in nature?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoPOLL: Would you be better off without Yahoo Answers?
After all, even though this website offers quick advice and information, it has now become ridden with trolls who mostly repeat their content and/or try to make us angry. Sometimes they become so ridiculous, they end up becoming a gallery of laughingstocks.
Do you think you would be better off if Yahoo Answers never existed?
23 AnswersPolls & Surveys3 years agoOCG, what life advice would you share to anyone?
1 AnswerOther - Cultures & Groups3 years agoIf these two groups of users were to fight, who would take over the Religion section?
It seems that even though there are sensible users seeking information or answering questions there, the Religion section has become a battlefield (or a circus) between Christian users and atheist users.
Which one of these groups -- the Christian users, or the atheist users, would win and take over the section, if both of them were to fight?
12 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoWhat are some bizarre regional traditions that are being practiced in different parts of the United States?
For example:
"Kansas has this tradition"
"It is practiced in California"
"Vermont practices this custom"
"Arizona has this tradition"
But I would like to see if there are any traditions, specific to their respective regions, that others find to be bizarre (like a dance, a contest, a holiday, etc.).
Are there any that you know of, and that you would like to share to the rest of the OCG section? A little more trivia would not hurt.
Polls & Surveys3 years agoOCG, should people care more about others' insults, or their own abilities?
There will always be people who are considered by some others as "inferior", and they get subjected to negative treatment, ranging from simple name-calling to harassment (or even discrimination and violence).
Nonetheless, do you think it is better for people (of any race and background) to worry or apply others' views of "you are inferior" to themselves?
Or it is better for them to ignore those insults, and focus on whatever they are capable of: their skills, and their hobbies?
This could be a good question about society, since poor self-esteem is a common social problem for a lot of people.
2 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups3 years agoIs the Religion and Spirituality section useful for information, or is it nothing but a joke?
It seems that this section is supposed to be about understanding religions, spirituality, and atheism. Unfortunately it has degenerated into a battlefield of flame wars.
Do you think it is still useful for information from the quick answers, or is it nothing but a joke from the frequent troll fights there?
16 AnswersReligion & Spirituality3 years agoIs the OCG section any useful, or is it a joke?
Considering that sometimes, a chunk of questions attacking Whites or Blacks emerge at some times in the day, and there are many racist trolls who occasionally pop out.
Do you think that the "Other Cultures and Groups" section is still any useful for good information and advice, or is it nothing but a big joke (for being a troll's battleground), like Politics and the Religion sections of Yahoo Answers?
And what advice would you share to anyone who visits the section and it's trolls?
Thanks.
10 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups3 years agoOCG, which of these two is a better role model?
* A person who spends most of his time boasting about his group's (e.g. race) accomplishments, just because he belongs to a "superior" race?
* A person who does his work working in a job (e.g. a factory, a school, a hospital), and does not care if anybody calls him "inferior" or other names?
Other - Cultures & Groups3 years agoConservatives, what kind of jobs would you recommend for young adults?
I thought that conservatives prefer jobs that actually have substance, like industry and engineering, because they value hard work.
5 AnswersPolitics3 years agoPOLL: Do you fight with or attack trolls on Yahoo Answers?
Sometimes, we are guilty of doing so because we are angry with them, and we end up being trolls too.
Is there anyone else in Y!A who fights with the trolls in this site, or do most of you ignore or block them?
9 AnswersPolls & Surveys3 years agoOCG, which kind of society is the better society for the United States?
* A secular republic that protects its freedoms (the current one)
* A dictatorship
* A racialist state
* A theocracy
* A communist country
After all, not everyone in the US likes the current secular republic model.

5 AnswersPolls & Surveys3 years agoOCG, is "race realism" a true science or not?
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_racism
http://en.metapedia.org/wiki/Race_realism
There is an ideology in the West, known as "race realism", which claims that it is usually White people who are naturally more intelligent and stable than other races, due to adapting into colder climates with less food. Some IQ scores by some scientists instead suggest Ashkenazi Jews or East Asians having higher scores than Whites, but race realists prefer to focus on White people instead.
Whereas Blacks and some others (like Australian Aborigines) are placed at the other end in the bottom. It is based on scientific reports by European scientists in the 17th to 20th centuries, as their countries' empires grew.
So, to the OCG section where race is discussed (or becomes a source of quarrels), do you think race realism is true? Or is it simply an excuse to treat people badly?
