What are some bizarre regional traditions that are being practiced in different parts of the United States?
For example:
"Kansas has this tradition"
"It is practiced in California"
"Vermont practices this custom"
"Arizona has this tradition"
But I would like to see if there are any traditions, specific to their respective regions, that others find to be bizarre (like a dance, a contest, a holiday, etc.).
Are there any that you know of, and that you would like to share to the rest of the OCG section? A little more trivia would not hurt.
