Is the Religion and Spirituality section useful for information, or is it nothing but a joke?

Generally speaking, yes this section is mostly just flame wars. I would recommend looking up other sources if you want thorough and useful answers

It is the Lack of Love that gives cause on all sides for fights and ridicule.

I do wish that people wouldn't pervert good things that are given to us, and yahoo answers is no exception to that rule with all of society's institutions. However, I do find sincere questions from people really wanting help, and I do answer those questions. I simply ignore the stupid questions

Just my opinion, Religion & Spirituality is almost nothing but (filth) I can remember when there were lot's of people asking questions pertaining to the Bible, wanting to know what (Book, chapter, and verse) meant, now it's almost all homosexual & atheists questions.

This is what Yahoo as allowed it to become.

I find that I occasionally learn something while battling the ignorance of others, so it isn't entirely useless.

There is the odd useful or interesting question but you have to endure the childish Atheist posts.
