Is the New Nintendo 3DS XL a good choice for a serious gamer?
What I mean is for adult gamers. I know it has loads of fans, but it seems as though the majority are kids and teens. I like a few games for it and the original DS (I know it's compatible with those games), but I'm just not sure if it's worth the investment. Help, advice and opinions welcome.

I'm 42 and do most of my gaming on the New Nintendo 3DS XL than I do my Wii U and PS4 combined.
It all depends on what games you like, and what system will play those games.
I like puzzle and RPGs, so every Picross game will guarantee me at least 25+ hours, often more. DQVII is over 90 hours and I've not finished it yet. Pokemon Moon is about 25 hours and almost done with the third island.
