How long should new credit cards season before opening a mortgage?

    If getting a new credit card impacts your score enough to make you ask, you are not ready for a mortgage.

    U don't qualify for any mortgage.

    Ask ur parents for actual info on how mortgage work.

    Keep renting until u get educated enough to figure out the reality of house ownership.

    Long enough to establish a history of making payments on time and never missing a payment -- and keeping a low balance.
