If my sister has custody of her two grandchildren, and the biological mother dies, can the children draw SS off their mother?

    Every case is different, and this isn't enough information. If your sister has full legal custody, then probably not, since the children are no longer the mother's dependents. If sister does not have legal custody, they might have a benefit coming. You'll have to ask SS.
