Any experts out there on Denon A/V receivers?

I own an older model Denon A/V receiver, model AVR-891. I have a 6-speaker surround sound system. Recently, the balance and volume between the speakers was way off. So, I ran Audyssey Auto Setup to fix the problem. Well it didn't work. In fact, the sound is worse. I tried running the Auto Setup a couple more time with no favorable results. What I hope to do is set the volume on EACH SPEAKER individually. However, I've gone through the owner's manual front to back a dozen times but there doesn't seem to be a way to set the speaker volume individually. Any suggests?

It may be that the unit is malfunctioning or that you do not have the speakers set up properly for 6.1 surround check the speaker connections first to make sure you have the proper connections. 6.1 requires a specific set up for the speakers...How to adjust the Volume for each individual speaker is listed on page 40 of the user manual...l I highly suggest that you download a manual from the Internet in PDF format they are easier to read and use.... Also once set up manually I would again run Audyssey again...I remember on an older AV receiver that I had that I had to set up the speaker manually first before Audyssey would give me the correct settings....Apparent some Audyssey has an easier time figuring out what to do if you get it closer to how you like it.....There is the possibility also that the machine is mal functioning and its time to start looking at new units....
