Can you substitute Sweet Sake Soy Sauce for something else in a Sauce?

I really can't find it and I'm not even 21 so it would be illegal for me to buy it and I don't have any of age friends

buying sweet sake soy sauce is not illegal if you are under 21...neither is rice wine or red wine vinegar.

If you can find it in a regular grocery store and its not restricted to a liquor store, anyone can buy it.

If you use regular soy sauce expect the sauce to taste different than what it would if you used the correct ingredients.

Just use sweet soy sauce - there are over 50 varieties of soy sauce. You can also mix mirin with regular soy sauce.
