You have just put 24 volts through your car! Connecting batteries like that is called "in series" and you double the voltage. Only a mechanic can determine the extent of the damage.

If you're lucky he blew your fusible link that protects the alternator and the electrical system. The fusible links are the big fuses in the engine compartment fuse box. If you are not lucky he blew out your alternator and PCM. That will set you back a good $1000. I'd check the fusible links brfore driving again. It sounds like your battery is running out of power and you will get stranded.

First, if you don't know how to do something, look it up and learn how to do it correctly. Cross connecting the terminals damaged your car. How badly it is damaged none of us can say, you need to take the car to a mechanic to find out.

Stop doing things you do not know what to do correctly.

You may have caused damage to both vehicles.

Take your car to a good mechanic to get it sorted.
