Are you able to get a state id card if you lost your driver's license?
I'm flying in a few days and cannot find my driver's licenses. The replacement one will not arrive in time and I don't know if you can get a state id without showing your driver's license

No, a state ID is an ALTERNATIVE to a driver's license, you can have one or the other - not both.
Even if you could - a state ID wouldn't arrive any quicker than a driver's license.
Why not just use your passport instead?

No but you may be able to get a temporary (paper) license from your DMV if/when you apply to get a replacement for your misplaced license.
Besides, there are other forms of I.D. that will be accepted. You have to realize that not everyone has a drivers license . Ask what other forms of I.D. will be accepted.

You can, by showing some other form of official identification (passport, birth certificate, etc.). However, processing time will in all likelihood be more than a few days.
