7 Month old Cockatiel?
1-The breeder told me females dont speak, only males do, not sure if it's true?
2-I bought a male, 7 months old, she told me dont take him out of the cage for 1 month because he doesnt know how to fly yet ??
3- at night when i close the light he just climbs up the cage like a bat and stays there, do u think he's afraid ?

My cockatiel is six and though we speak to her all the time she does not speak, it takes a lot of effort to get females to talk, she can copy whistles and tones of voice, I think it's natural for him to want to be up high away from predators, maybe think about getting a perch? Not letting him out of the cage is crazy talk you need to get him socialized, be sure all doors and windows are shut, he'll never learn to fly properly if he doesn't learn. Hope this helps
