I got a package that was delivered to the wrong address, what do I do?

Been there, done that. More than once.

If it's close, you can walk it over to the right house.

Otherwise, call UPS customer service, and explain the situation. They will send a driver to pick it up at your house, and re-deliver. They won't figure it out on their own.

I found somebody's Sprint phone that UPS left on my front porch and I have no idea how many days it was there. I have the same house number, buy wrong street (a block over). So I walked over there and nobody was home. Since their front porch was exposed, I left it at their back door.

It's Christmas and they are probably looking for it. I would take it to the correct address. If you give it to the driver, they won't get it until next week.

If you saw the man drop it off then you should have given it to him. Otherwise how would you know it was a man. Anyway,...just take it over there... UPS does not just come by and pick packages up, you would have to call them to get it, and they probably wouldn't anyway.

UPS isn't coming back to get it, either you deliver it to the right address or get UPS to come get it or you take it to their office

take it to a UPS dropoff site or call UPS and tell them. Don't keep it. It's probably someone's Christmas present, that unfortunately won't get delivered by Sunday.

Neither way is wrong but if it's not out of ur way u could do it urself cause the mail person messed up the first time who knows if they will mess it up again.
