Hello there.
It is great that you have decided to get help for anxiety. While it can be nerve-racking to go to the doctor, they are the key to kickstarting your recovery. Doctors work based on symptoms. If it helps, make a list of your symptoms before going to the appointment and show the list to the doctor when you go. This could make explaining what is going on go a little more smoothly. You doctor is going to ask you questions, but do not worry; it is not a test you have to worry about passing, it is meant to help you get the best care possible.
While you wait for the appointment to come around, take time to address your anxiety daily. Do things that are relaxing and comforting. Write about your feelings or find creative outlets in which you can express your feelings. Talk with friends and family about your fears and keep reaching out for support.
We wish you luck with this.
Take care!
Sincerely,
MH, counselor

Tell him what you just told us. I was the same when I went for anxiety I was sweating in the waiting room and felt panicked but I told him how I felt, apolgised for not making much sense and he realised I needed help. Unfortunately he tried to give me anti depressants so I didnt go back and that was in May 2016. Since then i have started smoking certain strains of cannabis and now my anxiety is gone. I think stress building up can make you anxious. I hope you get better soon goodluck!
