microsoft office 2016, word ribbon access?

I use microsoft office 2016 and specifically word 2016. the ribbon keeps scrolling up out of site when working on a word document. how do I make the ribbon always visible?

    Click on the small pin on the right hand side.

    Double-click on any tab .

    Single-clicking on a tab will momentarily bring the ribbon back, but it will not stay that way.
