What is the most common make and model of paintball guns offered as rental equipment at the paintball fields near where you live?
Are they CO2 or Compressed Air? What area of the country are you in?

Compressed air. Generally whatever they can get bulk and cheap, usually some sort of low end tippman in don't recommend using them as most fields keep them forever and they are inaccurate prone to stop pages and usually have leaky valves due to a lot of people not taking care of them and not receiving the maintence they need
