Whats wrong with my 2005 Kia Sedona?
The engine light came on when we were sitting at a stop sign, the van jerked a bit. Got on the Interstate to come home and the rpms were fluxuating between 1000 and 4500 going up and down hills, but on the down side it seemed like it was not shifting down very easily. finally the needle on the rpms started going up and down pretty quickly again between 1 and 4.5 and the van died all together. It wont start back, but it will turn over. it'll turn over for 10 seconds, stop and turn back over again

The warranty is up, so, tears for you. Kias have been prone to computer failure. You're lucky yours lasted so long. Put it in the shop and pray.

You will have to get the OBDII codes read for a diagnosis. Your description of the symptoms could be any number of problems from TPS fault to MAF fault or worse.

will need to find out what that code is for more help. but since its not running it will need to be towed to a shop to figure out what's wrong

OBDII code reader. Everyone should own one, or at least know someone that does.
