I did the math this morning, and the percent of deaths in the United States per year done by homicide by guns (not suicide) is 0.47%. And isn't that funny, because 26% of people in America own a gun! Wow, isn't that something? Don't believe me, google "How many people die a year by guns" and you'll see the amount murdered by a gun is 11,583. Google them "How many people die a year" and you'll see it says 2,473,018. 11,583 divided by 2,473,018 equals 0.0046... so rounded to 0.47%. Now what do you say? Oh yeah, and look at Iceland. About 2/3 of Iceland people own a gun, but they have some of the lowest homicide rates in the world! Explain that! Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Why just guns? Is dead from knives any different than dead from guns? Dead IS dead right? Over all violent crime is contained in very small geographic areas in the US, tiny places, the rest of the nation is as safe as any place on earth.
