what do you think of the name Goldie for a girl?

Sheesh. Have none of you ever heard of Goldie Hawn? Traditionally its a nn for the name Golda which in turn is a very traditional Jewish name which is actually pretty rare among Gentiles, but it's a nice name, cute.

That's a horrible name for a human! It sounds way more of a dog\some pet name which I actually have known a dog named Goldie. Even if I didn't, I'd still prefer the name on some pet.

The only Goldie I ever knew was always old. She ran a beauty salon that a relative of mine patronized. Goldie was her real name. (I asked.) So, no, I don't see it for a girl.
