SINUS INFECTION - LUMP ON HORSES FACE!!!?
I got my TB in from the field and he has a huge lump on his face below his eyes, 1 larger lump and another little one - it feels like bone they are rock hard and his eyes are weeping.
The vet is calling me back, I am thinking its a sinus infection - how is this sorted? the lump is really big actually and I am quite worried.
I have read things online about the vet having to drain the pus out! ....

This appeared overnight? Do you have a photo? I have only ever seen a sinus infection one time before. They finally determined it was caused by a fractured upper molar. From what I can remember they attempted to initially just treat the sinus infection, but it would not resolve. The horse went to New Bolton vet hospital, where the tooth was removed and the infection was resolved.

Could be strangles. I'd put the horse in, isolate them from others, take temp and vitals and just keep the horse comfortable and quiet. Stangles causes lumps that will eventually weep puss on the neck and face. It's highly contagious.
Or it could be something else!
