Do you see OLD QUESTIONS showing up as if they were new?

Someone or some "thing" has been dredging up old questions and asking them as if new. I've seen a few in the horse section, which is really the only part of YA that I care about.

I think it's a prelude to a scam that is intended to get us to click on URLs that attempt to inject a ransomware virus.

Has anyone else done a further study on what's going on? Yahoo itself has not been eating well, of late, and appears to be on half-rations or less. Its ribs are showing and it's kind of sunken in on the hindquarters. Its eyes are exceptionally dull.

It's a very active troll, Snezzy. Multiple accounts, all opened on Jan. 10. Did you notice the string of "trail horse" questions yesterday? New accounts, different names, all opened on Jan. 10. They've been plaguing the dog section as well. Bunch of guide dog questions today. Yesterday there were 20 questions about bad breath.Their MO is to come back days later and answer with another of their accounts and award themselves BA. They've hit before. I tried reporting them to no avail. Someone has a lot of time on their hands.

Apparently you're not the only one. I got an answer yesterday to a question I asked eight years ago. As to the cause, don't be paranoid. It's just Yahoo; glitch central, as I sometimes call it.

Verizon recently bought Yahoo. Expect some Fups as they change rein hands.
