Dear racist white Americans,why do you call yourselves conservative? Why are a majority of you closet-racists?

Question

Pretend like you are not but look at how you talk to black Americans, Mexicans, Native Americans (The people who this land ACTUALLY belongs to), Russians, Muslims, and everyone else who is not a Caucasian American.

All of the negative comments left on Yahoo, Facebook, and many news websites reflect a group of people who feel superior to all others who look differently or do not share the same political beliefs and values as said persons.

I know not all white people are like this; I made many of close friends who happened to be white and have dated white boys in the past.

I know that many black people are racist against white people as well; I hear the conversations.

But overwhelmingly, white Americans feel that they are better than others. Do you all (who ARE racists) feel bad about looking down on others or does it just empower you?

Everyone is a little racist and you're lying to yourself if you think you're not. They're the extremist who actually act upon their feelings and the others who can tolerate others. I'm not saying I support the extremist either, because I dont. In today's world racism isn't as bad as it was back before the civil rights movement but we should realize that the world is not perfect and racism will not disappear. We can try to enforce laws that stop the extremist from acting out but we cannot force people's thoughts. I have come across of many other races who are not willing to not look down upon me because of the fact I'm white. That doesn't stop me though.  It doesn't effect me. It just confirms that other races are just as privileged and ignorant like white people. We don't need to forget about the past so we don't make the same mistakes but at the same time we shouldn't hold onto it either.

That's nice. At the end of the day I will still rather live in a middle class white neighborhood rather than a low class black ghetto.

So if you think they're so great then move there with your wife and kids. $1,000 says you won't because you're scared shitless. Put up or shut up, tough guy.

Really? We do not allow white integration? I was unaware, until you told me, that we even possess that kind of power. I guess my love of white people does not count. I do not exist. (Another example of white racists ASSuming that all black people are one way). I am done.
