What is your scariest paranormal experience?

Here's the problem: some people make up stories for gullible superstitious people, who have no way of telling fake stories from genuine ones. Others can't tell natural experiences, such as hypnagogic hallucinations, from paranormal ones. I've had experiences you'd probably call paranormal while I would not, because I know there's virtually always a natural explanation for everything we experience if we'll only look for one.

The scariest was when I was at one of the first Heavens Gate meeting, and I was taking pictures cuz initially I didn't see the sign "No Photographs." But those two people spoke and acted like zombies with absolutely no emotion in their voices. Freaked me out, so I decided to take a few more pictures anyway.

Suddenly everything went black and my world was spinning. The back of my mind told me I was under some kind of psychic attack, and if I didn't want to die, I had to get out of there and fast! I managed to stumble out and make my way home. A few days later the pictures had been developed and all the pictures on the roll came out perfectly, but the few photos of The Two (as they were calling themselves), those were black. Not underexposed but black!. Years later I had just turned on the TV when I heard about the suicides at Heavens Gate. When I heard who their leader was, I went weak at my knees and nearly fainted. He was the same guy I tried to photograph fifteen years before, but the pictures came out black.... I realized I had escaped evil, but all those others-- 39 of them died a hideous death.

True story.

Not that long ago, I was in my bed getting ready for sleep and then the light turned on. I swear! My power switch is notblike every, it's not on click, it's like.. ummm... i dont really know how to explain it on english but you can change levels of lighting if you know what i mean. So it didn't turn on all the way bur it was really creepy! I called my mum haha and she said it was probably high voltage. Maybe it was but maybe not. When I think about that i feel pretty uncomfortable if you know what i mean haha...

Paranormal experiences do not actually exist, so no one really has them. There is freedom of speech in the USA. You are free to believe in absurd "gao pei", and I'm free to tell you it's just silly "osu no kuso".

Don't have one, but I am the kind of person who would love to go to places known for paranormal occurrences, disappearances, and extraterrestrial sightings/encounters.

I've never had such an experience, and I doubt that anyone else actually has had one.
