I had never played it. I have read that it worked for some people and most of them have faced some trouble after they have played. Therefore don't play that board. Spirits are everywhere in this world. There is no wonder if you happen to contact one of them. But you must think about the consequences after you have used it. I guess that there may be any trouble even if it doesn't work because the summoned spirit had already come to your premises. To avoid unnecessary disturbances and obstacles in your life you must take it (Ouija board) to a remote place and burn it and drop the ashes in a drainage system.

Ouija boards demonstrate the ideomotor effect. The only thing they contact are the subconscious imaginations of whoever has their fingers on the planchette (that's assuming no one is moving it intentionally). The only risk posed by Ouija boards is that of making gullible, superstitious people even more gullible and superstitious.

My mother used it when I was a boy, and I tried it some. I could see the answers she got were what she expected to get. Once, when I was away at college, she and my brother asked my lover's name. The answer was a name of no one I've ever known. I had a foreign exchange student girlfriend, and my relatives couldn't know that. When I use it with someone else who knows it's fake, we get no coherent answers. I haven't used one for years, but I'm not scared of the modern tales that are false.

Yes, I've used one. It did nothing when my friends and I used it, because we aren't gullible. I use it occasionally when I have time to kill in useless activities. Ghosts and spirits aren't real, so it can't contact them. People just subconsciously move the pointer to answers they want. Of course, some move it deliberately. The wild tales about it are absurd lies of recent invention. For a long time people used this toy without worrying about spirits.

Ouija boards are toys sold at toy stores or in the toy aisle. Silly, impressionable idiots believe it is something it is not.

I have used one. It gives me no answers when I use it with fellow skeptics. I do not use it much, since it is a waste of time. There are no spirits or demons in it. That is silly to believe there are.

Yes. It was mildly amusing as its designer intended. It certainly has no magical powers. I think it's still in the attic, but haven't played with it for years.

Nothing. Lack of belief was unable to move the pointer on the Witching Board.
My three friends were also skeptical, so none of us felt the "compulsion" to move it.
