Muslims I got a question?

"taqiyya" is mentioned in the Quran only one time in verse 3:28 which translated: <<Let not believers take disbelievers as allies rather than believers. And whoever [of you] does that has nothing with Allah , except when taking precaution against them in prudence. And Allah warns you of Himself, and to Allah is the [final] destination.>>

"taqiyya" is to protect oneself from the disbelievers. the verse that follows the above verse, verse 3:29, says: <<Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts [hearts] or reveal it, Allah knows it. And He knows that which is in the heavens and that which is on the earth. And Allah is over all things competent.>> The interpretation and connection to the previous verse is clear.

It is true that some "Muslims" lie about Islam; such lies are either from ignorant people or hypocrites; the punishment of hypocrisy is Hell fire but those hypocrites understand not and believe not.

Sure enough you can always read Quran on your own and understand it the way you wish; it is an open book. But if you fail to understand it, then it is your problem. and you can always ask those people who Fear Allah (swt) and don't lie about Islam.

How can you expect an honest answer to the question about taqiyya? The very doctrine effectively invalidates any constructive discourse with Muslims.

Those Muslims who do that are no different than crypto-Jews but crypto-Jews are worse. Not Muslim.

you might not be so sure that we are telling the truth and what you think is a lie is actually the truth, but you were fed wrong info from somewhere else..
