Why does the bible focus so much more on those who worship fake gods, and not the atheists which it simply calls fools?

God is jealous. Doesn't that make you realize how much you are loved that the Creator is jealous for you? Plus all other gods are Satan's way of deceiving the masses. As for unbelievers, they're lost, but God gives them many chances to seek Him. The one true God is Jehovah, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit which are all ONE.

The Bible is PROOF that long ago, some ignorant and superstitious men knew how to write.

The fool has said in his heart, I know there are gods, but only the god my mommy taught me is the 'real' one.

As THE WORD OF GOD being Sharper than any Two-edged Sword trains soldiers for CHRIST always first train in Spiritual Warfare !

If you are recruiting and trying to gain followers, target the ones that are already open to worshiping some form of deity.

There are some biblical texts according the atheism:

"In his haughtiness, the wicked man makes no investigation;

All his thoughts are: “There is no God.”" (Psalms 10:4. Bible).

"The foolish one says in his heart:

“There is no Jehovah.”

Their actions are corrupt, and their dealings are detestable;

No one is doing good" (Psalms 14:1. Bible).

"Moreover, without faith it is impossible to please God well, for whoever approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him" (Hebrews 11:6. Bible).

They hate competition.
