When you pass by or go to a place using your GPS tracker or something similar, will it have said Current Location?
Will it say Current Location if you pass by your destination or would you have had to stop at the location? Would it work both ways, stopping and passing by the destination?
There's a thing on google, google maps, google search, and google my activity, where it all correlates together. But I don't understand how it works.
If you pass by the place or if you have to stop at the place...for it to say current location in the My activity section.
Where there the address is and below in grey it says: current location.
I'm just trying to get this cleared out.

The My Activity on Google uses GPS location tracking on your phone or other registered GPS enabled Google device to track your location using global positioning satellites, cellular data towers, free and public wifi locations, checkins from Facebook, Google+, phone and picture geotagging, and a multitude of other methods, the Activity feature of Google allows for nearly "real time" tracking of you throughout your day.
This service is most commonly used for phone tracking through Google services agreements, as Google can to provide an accurate location tracking for that device (usually within 20-25 meters) of its actual location, but it is also used by Google to provide targeting location based interest advertising and marketing directly to you, provide updates to you when you're traveling about current events, news, and weather in your area, and much more.
Google is pretty upfront in its terms and conditions regarding app services (including location based services) but lots of people don't realize that your phone has the ability to track you wherever you go. As long as you're connected to the network (cellular or wifi) and location services is on, Google (and big brother) will be able to find you. You can turn off location services for a short time for applications but will never be able to fully disable it. Current phone regulations require ALL phones sold to have GPS and tracking capabilities for E-911 services, and emergency call back and tracking cannot be turned off by a standard user.
As I mentioned, it provides NEARLY real time tracking, because its going to be pinging off of cell towers and GPS satellites. But, if you stay stationary for any period of time you'll be able to be tracked pretty much to your general location.
Hope this answers your questions!
