What breed of dog do you like the most out of these?

When I got married nearly 43 years ago, the first purebred dog my Husband and I bought was a German Shepherd. She was a great dog and easily trained but the hair/shedding almost drove me nuts since I'm a clean freak. It bother me even more after our first Son was born and because mobile, as I was constantly cleaning the floors with having a baby crawling around. After that, our next purebred dog was a Doberman Pinscher. We've owned them ever since and never looked back We've owned them for just about 33 years now and currently have a red and rust almost 7 year old b*tch. I've never been interested in Pit Bulls because they are just not "eye candy" to me. While the appearance of a dog should be very low on the specifications one likes about a certain dog, I personally don't want to actually look at a dog every day for years that I personally don't find attractive.

So, there ya have it. The Dobe is my breed of choice, and in fact I use to show and breed but haven't bred since the late 1990's and haven't shown since the early 2000's. My last Dobe was a red and rust male on a co-ownership that didn't live with me. I already owned an intact black and rust male and it's strongly advised not to keep two male Dobes living together under the same roof.

B: german shepard then a pitbull

I don't like any of them. The Pit Bull isn't even a breed. Not a single legitimate registry recognizes them. These are also the #1 dog for deaths by dog attack (bully breed mutts aka Pit Bulls). German Shepherds are #3 and Doberman's a bit farther down at #7.

So a question for you - what sort of experience do you have in training stubborn, aggressive dogs that would compel you to foolish want one of these beasts?
