How long till the UK passes a prohibition law?

When Hell freezes over. That's all I can say to someone who loves asking stupid questions.

And how many participate - a couple of thousand?? Trying to ban something that the people want generally doesn't work out so well. That's what leads to black markets.

We tried prohibition here in the US. There was wide spread distain & ignoring of the law.

There are always hair-brained schemes and health fads and foody fashion slaves but they all pass ... thank goodness! We KNOW it is not good for us in excess but most of us are just moderate drinkers who would not welcome the nanny state poking its nose in any more than it already does.
