How do I get over my mistake/forgive myself?

About two years ago I bullied someone online.... nothing serious or drastic like telling them to kill themselves, but I essentially called them two faced and pathetic because they were kissing up to people of power but then turning around and trashing them behind their backs. I was cowardly and tried to be anonymous, and then tried to lie my way out of it when I got caught and they made a call out post about me. Since then I've owned up to and admitted to my mistake and apologized to the person, who said they forgave me....

Yet I ended up changing my username because I'm scared of people finding out about it and using it against me even though it was ages ago, and every time I think about it I get this sense of paranoia and my anxiety kicks into overdrive, and I start being myself up inside. I don't know how to get past this feeling.... any advice?

You can't change the past, as much as you don't know it, you got bullied to, when they've had a counter-post about you, so you didn't need to apologize to that guy, for he paid you back, where words are words, & are not supposed to hurt anyone, except when they've already hurt themselves by taking wrong decisions & approach of life.

However you lack strength & support in your life, which made you vulnerable & fearful, as much a part of you wants to deny it. So seek strength & talent, for they'll help you understand yourself more.
