Reality is created by thought. Our subconscious mind is designed to take our predominant conscious thoughts and cause us to observe, say and do things (subconsciously) that create a reality based on them. Our thoughts are derived observationally or intentionally and unless one has learned how to be intentional with thought, they have created a reality by observing their circumstances. If one's circumstances are somewhat ideal, they generally create a reality that makes them happy. If one's circumstances were very far out of alignment with who they are, they generally create a life in which they are unhappy.

Trauma causes an extremely powerful thought because it is intensified by strong emotion. The creation caused by it is a very powerful one. Unless great effort is made to change the thought, it's creation will not change.

Simple. Painful memories are vivid and hard to forget. They also scar the mind.

Meant to be a learning experience but people carry it as a perpetual nightmare and interference with other situations.

It started with people viewing only the evil/bad rather than recognizing the good learning experience

It's an evolutionary thing. Suppose a child was chased by an animal in the cave dwelling era. The child would learn to avoid that type of animal. In that way, the child could avoid be eaten or framed by that animal. Then the child would grow up to reproduce.

As a child your brain is still developing and very sensitive. Trauma can f*ck it up and therefore take a toll and effect you for the rest of your life
